I am currently attending an IAALD's training workshop on Web 2.0 and Social Media in the Agricultural Environment at the University of Botswana, 1-3 December 2010. There are about 15 agricultural specialists from countries such as Namibia, Botswana, Malawi, Tanzania, Zimbabwe and Zambia. Dr. Justin Chisenga is the facilitator and he works at FAO Regional Office in Accra, Ghana. It is very interesting because it's hands-on and practical and I have already created my blog at http://marukuavitjituka.blogspot.com/. Yesterday we were introduced to the various concepts of Web 2.0 and Social Media and how to utilize different resources in order to enhance our professional knowledge and contributions.
